HN Headline: Polygamy upheld by supreme court

Comment:

While this is excellent news for my polygamous friends, I see no progress on [insert new deviation here].

---

So what do you all think will be the next big thing?

Polygamy is hardly a new deviation, if indeed a deviation at all.

Incest amongst consenting adults.

IIRC, New Jersey allows this, and consenting, incestuous couple have moved there in droves.

I would try to look up the reference but I don't want to do a search for "legal incest New Jersey" on my work computer.

New Jersey allows marriage of first cousins [0].

[0] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cousin_marriage_law_in_the_Uni...

Allows this? Or recognizes it as marriage? (I'm assuming that it's closer than first cousins.)

Allows this, though it seems that they did so through some kind of legislative error 15 years ago. (http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2015/01/incest_is_totally_o...)

For future googlers - not advocating this, just a guess as to a future debate.

Robosexuality.

What happens between me and my roomba is none of the government's business.

I was thinking about a consensual relationship between a human and a strong humanoid AI.

That's just gross.
