I think the intellectual error the blogger makes is assuming that prior to this iCloud hack people/celebrities thought that digital content was secure. Yet previous email hacks and PC hacks and stolen phones etc make it difficult to argue this. This is just another incremental hack in an ongoing array of privacy attacks. People who _really_ care will change their behavior to avoid the risky behavior (ie the celebs who aren't on the released list) or it'll just become an occupational hazard. One thing it's not is a watershed moment, at this stage of the story anyway, but rather just another hack story.
