The Moves acquisition is a big f* you to anyone who cares about privacy; which is a lot of people, though geeky programmers may be the majority of those who are even aware of any issue.

For any change to happen, Facebook needs to understand their actions can have a real negative effect on their business, through damage to their most significant asset - their great engineers. The only ones who can really cause that damage are those who work there in the first place.

Real actions in life have more of an effect than writing interesting posts. You don't have to volunteer at Greenpeace to be an activist.
