You're right, it doesn't make any difference to Elon. I'm not doing it to hurt Elon, I'm doing it for me, because I don't want to be putting my hard-earned money towards his enterprises. It's the same reason why people will stop buying products from companies who use sweatshops with child labor, etc.

Absolutely. And I was huge fan of Tesla in the beginning, put a deposit on the 3 model when first came out years ago, before Elon went off the rails. Thankfully now there are more options.
