This is interesting. I'm guessing a site like this needs a lot of content to work well. How did you get the site filled up with content initially?


To begin with I gathered a list of all the most common diseases out there, which rounded up to just over 1000.

Then to save me some time and allowing me focus on other things I hired a data entry specialist to gather small descriptions about each diseases on wikipedia and input them on my site.

All the treatments listed there are user contributed so there are not so many treatments.. yet.. only around 100.
