I hadn't heard this story:

  [Kurt Vonnegut is] working at home with his wife and he tells her he’s going to buy an envelope. A sensible woman, she suggests hey, why not buy a bunch, bring them home, then we’ll have envelopes. But he insists on his original plan because he’s “going to have a hell of a good time in the process of buying one envelope.”

I do usually have a beer at the airport, but having more means you have more usage out of the plane bathroom which I can do without.

It does occur to me that those following the advice should be seated on the aisle, yes.
