Once a company reaches a certain size, it can limp along, hidden to everyone, for years - decades - before they go away.

“Amazon will fail”, maybe, in 50 years, from decisions made now.



Yeah, IBM and Oracle still limped along long after they ceased being the thinktanks of innovation. Amazon limping will drag Gen Z and their retirement down with them. This isn't some level playing field.
