New iOS app I am hacking on, in TestFlight now. Create a DJ persona, which is deep researched using gpt-5 thinking high. Then trade off playing songs back to back with the AI, pulled from Apple Music. Or just let the AI go on its own. Selections default to gpt-5 thinking low, but is configurable. Playing with lots of ideas here, such as validating selections align with the persona (llm as a judge). Because the persona is deep researched you can get very specific with the genre the DJ plays. If appropriate, the selections can be very deep. I have learned many Krautrock gems from my “Krautrock Nerd” persona. Or make a persona be “Mark Ronson from 1990s nyc” lol.
