Today I looked a bit into the various options of exchanged-traded Bitcoin in the EU and was surprised to find ... nothing!

There are various Bitcoin-related assets listed on the European stock markets, for example by VanEck, 21Shares and ETC-Group.

But they all outsource holding the actual coins to companies outside the EU. What's going on? Is there no company in the EU doing bitcoin custody for exchange-traded assets?
