I had avoided seeing it because I thought it was a movie about AI and expected it to be trite. For anyone else who might be dismissing it for similar reasons: its not about AI, its about relationships, and it is really good.

Reminds of Arrival in that way: come in thinking it’s a movie about alien invasion, realize it’s a (rather provocative, mind-bending) love story.
