This article comes across as muddled, bullshit, editorial piece arguing against privacy and that we should trust corporations. They seem to be naive and not have much real life experience while pushing a position that's indefensible. They're a tech consultant and speaker, so that's the position they're pushing.

PS: Actually, I prefer the fork of Signal, Session, because it doesn't require the metadata binding to a phone number.
