There are now programs you can download that do that, for example [1]. Certainly, this is still an experimental line of software and I don't use the NeoVIM GUIs and don't claim that this has been proven a success yet, but there are some encouraging signs. https://github.com/topics/neovim-guis

I’ve used a few of the Neovim GUIs; they each have a different take on UI/UX for a Neovim GUI.
