I don't see how taking an award away for academic excellence by simply supporting a petition to stop funding for a controversial University in occupied territory where human rights groups has continually said apartheid crimes are taking place is a good thing. Good thing the Universities that opposed the court doing this at least recognized that and one of the other award winners stepped in to show support for Oded Goldreich by giving him their award.
