I feel like these should also include production/manufacturing emissions per vehicle. The rare-earth metals and lithium for batteries (for example) don't just appear out of thin air. Private cars have a many many externalities, not only the energy used to move the vehicle.


That's what i liked about it, it says on the page that: "Greenhouse gas emissions account for the entire lifecycle, including vehicle production and battery production, supply chains raw materials."


(And is possible to change in the "Customize" tab)

At risk of being an annoying PSA: If it has a center of gravity higher than sedans or doesn't have a D-pillar, it's (probably) not a station wagon.


It's a nice visualization but the dataset is missing quite a lot of electric cars.
