Maybe I'm in the wrong industry, but I'm a working professional on embedded linux systems and I find I only need to ask a question maybe 3 times per year. I consume probably 500 answers per year though.

I am about balanced in my number of questions and answers, to put things into perspective.

But - it's true that I'm not a typical user; I'm often curious about "But why is it like that?" and "can we do something better than..."
