For me personally it would be useful to have following feature: - show the list of all stories that were on the homepage any time during that day. Maybe there is a way to do that even now but I did not found it.

That's what the 'all' option does. It shows all items that made the front page that were submitted on any given day, whether it was on the front page for 2 days straight or for just a few minutes.
