Women tend to not be diagnosed as much as men either, mainly as they're forced to mask more throughout life -- I don't think we'll ever get an accurate representation there, unfortunately.

I feel like there are things not being said in the study that should have been. I could be wrong, but I don't see a mention of whether the parents of the autistic children were themselves autistic or not and feel that could be important criteria to have noted.

Would painting black present potential heat absorption/dissipation issues?

Maybe what we need is a fan to cool down the fan.

Yeah the fact that it's spinning as much as it is would probably dissipate any excess heat that black paint would add. Lots of airflow. My guess, at least.

Could be an issue when it stops spinning though.

Does that happen often? When I pass by the wind farm every time I go to visit extended family, I don't think I've ever seen them stopped. Granted that's not often. I really don't know.

I imagine you'd place them in an area where there's almost always wind, otherwise you've planned poorly.

Yeah it's a possibility. The black blade might expand more in the heat, so might become (for example) 10 mm longer than the white blades, which could cause a vibration problem due to being out of balance.

Currently, all the blades are the same color, so should expand and contract equally in the sunlight.

Probably more than those painted white, and another study could help answer that.

Maybe make it striped instead of solid black

I discovered the same as well, highly recommend turning off the camera.

I do it very often because I often walk around my office or play with toys in my hands when I am collecting my thoughts or focusing on listening to people. Also help not feeling the urge to multitask and do other things on the computer.

Not working for me on my work's network, but over EE it's fine. Thoughts with the admins having to troubleshoot this.

Red Hat, you made the internet's nicest man, Jeff Geerling, upset and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

It's also tomorrow in some countries already!

Is it GlasgowGPT by any chance?

Either way, there's definitely an opportunity for funding. In the case of Glasgow, there's a huge populous out there that are descendants of folk from the city/country taking pride in it (arguably more than a bunch of us that live here!) and like to get in on the banter.

That's certainly an avenue worth exploring if there's a similar relationship with folks or families of folks that emigrated away, but feel a strong connection.

Edit: You'll have to excuse my unfamiliarity with LLMs, but if you're storing messages and responses, and if there's a way to check that a message has already been asked, would it be possible to replay that (at least on the first message) instead of running a new query against the API? If they then engage further, then it would send the job out?

Haha yes it is! And appreciate the suggestion, that's a good idea that I'll look into. I've plastered a big banner up and will see if anyone goes for it, from locally or elsewhere. Cheers

Also, I wonder if Scotland has an agency similar to Ireland whereby they have a government VC fund to encourage startups... So there may be a .gov option

Hope it's of help! Had fun with it the other day, though was telt I was English for preferring salt and pepper over salt and sauce, haha!

I'd love to see something liket this in the form of a personal assistant. My brain is a mess and having something that's tied into my workflow, calendars, messaging to remind me of things would be fantastic.

To be fair, I hallucinate information as well so I can't completely knock it!

Very sad to see. I've seen a few posts recently from her accounts suggesting that things really haven't been good at all. I really do hope things get better, and quickly at that.

Post viral wise, things can get really nasty, even if being infected with the virus doesn't appear to be that bad. I had shingles five or six years ago and have had chronic fatigue since. I'd say I was pretty fit being able to cycle 30 miles a day going back and forth between work, and now I'd consider myself lucky if I could do 1/8 that. I have a stick on me at all times in case I collapse. Congitively I'm pretty borked at points as well. I am better than a few years ago, but it's clear that I'll never be back to where I was -- I experience good days and bad weeks.

Avoid COVID if you can, get your boosters and if you do get COVID or any other illness, really, please try to rest well and avoid returning back to normal too quickly if life allows for that (I know it isn't that easy). I went back to work too quickly and belive that had a significant impact on my recovery.
