Has anyone taken Compilers course from David Beazley: https://www.dabeaz.com/compiler.html. I'd love to hear your feedback, please

I am curious to know this - how do various nations/ space programs ensure that the objectives of their missions are significantly different that they don't end up repeating the work/ results of other missions (from other nations)? Do all space agencies work together to determine what the focus would be (I guess not, but it'd be cool, if it were like that)!

One of the main criteria for a whiteboard is to use it with a stylus - so I purchased https://air.bar/ to turn my non-touch-screen laptop into a touch-screen-one. However, its latency is not low enough to provide a smooth experience. Does anyone know of a good digital pen that plays well with Win 10. I suspect our company policies won't allow me to share screen via an iPad.

I am reminded of his programming retreat :). https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=2110408722...

Thanks much for your kind reply. The first link has a lot of guiding philosophy despite it being attached to Apple, I will try incorporating this. I am a FW developer and when I developed this GUI and put it in few users' hands, I realized how counterintuitive something can be in terms of usability.

I found this nifty video that explains the operation of such a facility in Indonesia! Cool stuff! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5M6u9ZX5ecE

Thanks much for your kind response. I am planning to test drive this week and probably request for a couple of weeks of usage. I want to get a hang of how I would work my schedule around the charging needs of the car. Will try the reddit too. Thanks again :)

Hi! I can do Firmware. Let's chat. Any preferred means of communications?

https://www.netflix.com/title/80119093 My rocket-science knowledge is abysmal, but I thoroughly enjoyed this article and the Netflix documentary that I have linked to was incredible. Anyone even remotely interested in rockets should check it out :).

Most of my rocket-science knowledge is from Kerbal Space Program, which I also recommend to anyone with a passing interest in space :)

Unavailable for me in the UK, what's the name of the documentary?

"Cosmodrome".

Can't find it anywhere on the internet, not even Netflix here in my country. :(

I cannot access it as well, but it should be "Cosmodrome"

Excellent, thank you. There's a parallel between Sergei Korolev and Elon Musk, I believe.

To amplify just a bit - I watched the linked video. The parallel that struck me was the description of Korolev as an amazingly multitalented person. I regard Musk as a polymath as well. It interested me that these two chose work that requires understanding of many disciplines (fluid dynamics, combustion chemistry, materials science, control systems, etc.)and were so effective as individual contributors and as leaders.

Cool stuff! Do you have plans to expand this further? Would you accept pull requests? :)

I did this project together with my colleague Paula (pksm here, @pksmoraes on Twitter). I am doing research on NLP, this was just one summer project for me. She will work on that project further. So yes, it is not dead! Submit a pull request if you like :)

Yeah like he said I'll be working on employing transfer learning for self-driving cars. :)
