Seaweed is a staple ingredient in Korea. We eat it in all sorts of ways. I remember being shocked by the smell of rotting seaweeds on a Welsh beach. Never saw it happening in Korea. We eat those!
I really like the roasted seaweed snacks. They taste a bit like fish. I've even recently bought some seaweed chips to put into my rameyon. We enjoy Korean food. Kimbap is one of my favourite snacks especially with danmuji.
Best option is to get the merraige visa. You can't work with the student visa. And unless you already have a contact, I think to get a work here (that offers visa) would be difficult.
You can play live 3month as tourist hop to Japan and come back move but that would be difficult with the pandemic and it is an uncertianty that would weigh on both of you. I'm a Korean my husband is a Brit programmer. We went through this route before and my advice is to look into marriage visa immediately. Its actually not that difficult and while it's comparatively fast it still takes some time. You can find my contact in the profile if you want.
My partner and I were talking about Paprika. And how the file we downloaded didn't work halfway through. Realising we must have downloaded the same torrent long time ago. It was slightly romantic. Don't think I've ever really considered seeders and peers (prob peoplewith similar tasteas yours).
Possible. But I think more likely is that it was a good frame of reference for him as he was an executive at an advertising agency for quite some time.
I agree, I think good thing to point out is that incentivizing and monetizing is not the same thing. If you would excuse a tangential argument, I notice that in Eastern culture 'social cache' is much stronger contender to monetary benefit than west; and in Western incentivization = monetization is more stronger. (my theory is that with more individualistic society with less strict societal norm money is one thing most can agreed upon)
What I got to think recently about the value of knowing more about stuff whose usage isn't imminently obvious is that when you expand your knwoledge, the 'range' of your world changes.
So yes, almost by its nature, you would not use the stuff that you don't know much of, but you would be hemmed in by your own ignorance. On the other hand, by expanding your knowledge, you would also expand your range of experience (your world) thus find it more useful.
