America's diversity has not changed commensurately with the drop in trust, but economic factors have, and the charts I linked to back that correlation in other countries.

The article is about ASD.

Manipulate isn't the right word in regards to Twitter. So they wanted a social media with less bias. Why is that so wrong? Not saying Twitter now lacks bias. I am saying it's not manipulation to want sites that don't enforce groupthink.

What's causing the housing crisis?

Corruption, Zoning, Investment housing

It leaves us nothing :)

Finnish people are probably nice when people try to learn their language. Hahaha. Can't say that about the other places.

Most Scandinavians would rather speak English than listen to a foreigner try to speak their language.

Strictly speaking, Finland is nordic, not scandinavian. And their language is entirely different. I was under the impression Fins and Estonians are happy when people try to learn. Am I wrong?

Why do you think those people behave that way?

Unpaid labor finds a variety of impulses to satisfy

Memories of years ago on Stack Overflow, when it seemed like every single beginner python question was answered by one specific guy. And all his answers were streams of invective directed at the question's author. Whatever labor this guy was doing, he was clearly getting a lot of value in return by getting to yell at hapless beginners.

That doesn't seem like the kind of thing that's ever been allowed on Stack Overflow.

So? It is commonplace there. The comments are even worse.

I don't think it matters. Whether it was a fault of incentives or some intrinsic nature of people given the environment, it was rarely a pleasant experience. And this is one of the reasons it's fallen to LLM usage.

It's not. edit: Not more pleasant.

This analogy makes no sense.

This was not an analogy. It was an additional example to add to the parent's observation. As well as to dispute that it had anything to do with people from countries with big land mass.

There are clueless people from many places, not just the US. Europeans refer to Asia as Asia. Is that a problem too?
