I built this same thing about 15-20 years ago, there was no plaid so I just had them input their routing and account info, I could print anything I wanted on the MICR line so I don't see why you need access to a user's bank account (seems intrusive to me). Also, at that time, I had trouble getting people to pay me even enough to cover postage so bravo to you if you have people paying you $7/check.
Major US banking apps I've used in the past 7 or so years already support mailing physical checks directly from their mobile apps via their bill pay service. Just add someone's physical address as a "payee", create a payment, and it sends them a check in the mail, for free. Perhaps your app is slightly more convenient and has more advanced features which make it worth the fee, but it seems like a problem already mostly solved and widely available.
this is slick, nice work! We're in the market for a service like this but we're looking for an API to do high volume check-based refunds. Are you mailing the checks out yourself or working with a third party?
Maybe we should have models govern models to prevent models from going haywire and falling into a loop of a repetitive pattern or influencing society towards swarm like behavior patterns

We did this because of a painpoint I experienced as an engineer having to deal with crummy mcp setup, lack of support you have no idea how hard it is to set up SSE, deal with API keys and scope issues, and then to find things like the tool that you want isn’t even coded yet.
And so one of the areas we found it to be useful was to do the soft communications with tools like Jira linear slack - updating stakeholders and all that friction that engineers hate doing. Some other areas people use a lot of tools with sequential thinking
