That's the article that the comments are all about, yes.

For both Firefox and Brave, you don't need any add-ons or extensions.

For Firefox, you can enable GPC in `about:config`. You'll want to flip `privacy.globalprivacycontrol.functionality.enabled` and `privacy.globalprivacycontrol.enabled` both to `true`

For Brave, GPC is enabled by default.

You can test your browser by going to https://globalprivacycontrol.org. It'll tell you at the top of the page if you have GPC turned on.

Right, I didn't say all browsers, just the popular mainstream ones. Safari, Chrome of any kind, including Edge.

Depending on your country, FF counts as mainstream on Desktop. Hi from Germany ;)

This is mostly true however Brave Shields do not support the $removeparam operator so it is unable to remove url based tracking. You still need uBO or the ClearURLs extension to do that. https://github.com/brave/adblock-rust/issues/166)

Brave already removes tracking parameters from URLs

They allow you to store the (encrypted) data in your own Dropbox if you're concerned about the 1Password cloud.

AFAIK, Labcorp and Quest don't provide public facing APIs. EMR vendors do provide Lab APIs (with user approval): Epic, Allscripts, drChrono, etc. They use a framework called FHIR. You can go to the EMR vendor websites and find out how to gain access to these APIs. It's time consuming but not difficult.

Totally agree with this.
