Unrelated to the article: has google ever used their smart speaker spy tech to covertly place us citizens into an undisclosed matchmaking algorithm using location derived, e.g. from voice recognition from those smart speakers? Is that legal?

Perhaps there's a security shortcoming in the hardware architecture upon which we build firmware/software for routers and such appliances?

Is this not a legitimate inquiry? Just curious why this leads to being quickly downvoted.

I lived with a woman who received a $50,000 payout as an Autonomy employee via proceeds from Autonomy's sale to HP. She invested it. I wonder if she will ever have to return it.
