>Society is split like elsewhere, but the fringe parties like AFD are at 15% in general election weekly question [1]. This is Don Quixotery.

When you factor in most reporting about the American election (I'm American) only give percents in terms of voters (small portion of population), Trump also had ~15%.

This was a very serious incident, and the people who try these things should possibly be executed in a humane manner if this pattern of misbehavior continues.

Whoa, executing them might make them bigger heros in the eyes of their supporters aswell as make the government look like a bigger oppressor. Just ignore the shit out of them like a toddler throwing a tantrum while making sure that they don't hurt themselves or those near them.

Exactly last thing you want are monarchist martyrs.

That's how you ended up needing to arrest a bunch of morons who post all day about wanting to do exactly what they ended up attempting to do.

Instead what needs to happen is if execution is off the table, you very purposefully remind them, repeatedly, that there is nowhere to defect to -- you will not have quiet enjoyment of your Nazi coffeehouse, your Nazi bar, your Nazi... whatever... because the antifascists will not tolerate your behavior and invoke stand your ground the second you even hint at acting on your antisocial urges.

I'd suggest that a humane manner of execution does not exist because murder is fundamentally inhumane.

I'd rather move someplace slightly better like... Queens

;-)

> Can you link to a recent case where a teenager was executed for distributing movies?

Did you read the OP? O_o

North Korea isn't part of the United States. The comment referenced the US. Obviously, that's what I'm asking about.

>That's not necessarily true. They don't have access to the internet or foreign media. Only propaganda.

That's wildly inaccurate, read "Nothing to Envy" then educate yourself on advancements in censorship circumvention since then -- they regularly get movies and films on USB paired with broadcasts into border regions.

There are currently people in Russia with near-unlimited access to internet (and until quite recently with near-unlimited access to travel) who sincerely believe that the West is hell on Earth.

You greatly underestimate the power of propaganda.

There are currently people in the USA with near-unlimited access to internet who sincerely believe that Russia is hell on Earth.

Russia is hell on earth within some respects and that doesn’t mean the US isn’t when it comes to others. It’s subjective what it means hell on earth but neither the US nor Russia take the medal for worst place in the world to be.

Speaking as an American... they can stay in Russia then, more power to them.

I remember seeing a video of two guys just walking holding hands and the entire town basically ready to jump them, not knowing there was a camera going.

If they want to live like victims, fine, that's a choice you can make, I just don't want them exporting their insanity.

So to clarify, what's your issue here? Do you think they weren't executed? Or is it that you think executing them is totally normal and cool?

Radio Free Asia has repeatedly put out exaggerated or sensational claims about North Korea, at least some of which have turned out to be false. Nobody is endorsing NK, executions, etc.

Can you list an example? Not that I don’t believe you, but RFA why biased is nevertheless boring and often not known for clickbait.

If you were to believe them, Kim ate too much cheese and it forced him to disappear, and he died several times. Also he killed an uncle with an anti-aircraft gun, and he reappeared, so he fed him to dogs, then he reappeared again. (These are things they literally reported)

Anyone who enjoys their reporting may also have an interest in Weekly World News.

Believe who? Dept of State? Dare to share references to the DoS-sourced articles you mention?

> Believe who?

I think they’re referring to Radio Free Asia.

The issue is that Radio Free Asia isn't a trustworthy source.

Source?

One classic example is this

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.rfa.org/english/news/korea/...

And the fact that it's US sponsored media targeted against an ideological enemy

They weren't executed.

Source?

I think since your coming here with the extradentary claim the burden of proof really lands on you.

I'm glad you specified in your first comment on this site that you're not CIA otherwise I would have been suspicious.

Most of these news coming out of north Korea are eventually proven fake. Not condoning NK but most stories are just exaggerated nonsense

Rest in power.

Death to totalitarians.

Most of these people would have been guillotined during the French revolution.

No amount of money can force people to love you

You will be surprised. See politicians for example. They love _anything_ for money.

Perhaps but I suspect you're using a different definition of "love" than was intended.

Or I could assume a corporation that wants my business won't purposefully violate my boundaries and prove themselves untrustworthy.

Makes sense. You'd be amazed the things football fans say to you on the train pretty much anywhere but Kreuzberg.

(RIP Jetpak Alternative <3)

I really hate stereotypes but if you want a funny mental image, picture someone assuming you're a Nazi because you're dressed in all black, bald, and muscular, because they have no grasp of history and don't know there were multiple kinds of skinhead.

Picture them speaking in German, you don't reply.

Then assuming you're French, speaking in French (both times having some poor bastard commuter translate as you sit poker faced).

Then they try Russian for some reason.

Then when they finally speak in English assuming you're British you loudly say "What the fuck? I'm not a royalist and I'm not a Nazi - get away from me before I put your head through the fucking window!" and having them exclaim "He's American!!" and _literally running off_ the train as one of the few non football people who translated and the ticket taker start laughing.

I guess morons like that don't know that they check us for guns at the airport, but there's a special joy in doing a little finger gun through the window as some dumbass runs off to wait 30 minutes for the next train and hopes someone like me on the platform doesn't just throw him in front of the next one if he ever says those thoughts aloud again...

Anyways sorry for the wall of text, but Germany (and the rest of the EU) was really nice to visit - us Americans don't get much vacation so we get very grumpy when it's interrupted, and these types are TOTAL ASSHOLES.
